The new jackets Racken (men’s sizing) and Vitsand (women’s sizing) as well as the new pants Rinn (men’s sizing) and Velen (women’s sizing) are an upgrade to the popular Celtic and Cambridge models. Combining minimalistic and stylish leather design with the waterproofness and breathability of an all-weather jacket, the Racken and Vitsand will take you to your destination in style, no matter the weather.
Undoing the old preconception that black leather gear is only suitable for riding on sunny or cloudy days that are not too warm, the new products’ come with numerous features to keep the motorcyclist cool, warm, and dry, including the TFL COOL SYSTEM® coating. The jackets and pants have been awarded the highest possible safety rating (AAA), making them the epitome of Halvarssons design philosophy “safety through comfort”.
The all-new jackets and pants have a classic cut and are the ultimate choice for all motorcycling, with cow nappa leather bringing a touch of luxury with its soft feel. The leather used in the products are a by-product of the meat industry.

Airbag ready
The Racken and Vitsand jackets are airbag ready. This means that the jackets work together with any standalone airbag system on the market that is intended to be worn under a jacket. When the airbag deploys, the jacket expands together with the airbag – thanks to the expanding panels on the back.
Chest protector ready
The Halvarssons “Furudal” chest protector can easily be inserted into the jacket’s dedicated protector pocket. Once the jacket is closed, the protector remains in place and completely invisible.
Next generation of protection
Halvarssons has fitted the new products with thin, light weight, and breathable level 2 protectors. New protectors can be found in the jackets shoulders and elbows and in the pants knees and hips.
High abrasion resistant textile (HI-ART)
Halvarssons proprietary reinforcement material, HI-ART, is highly durable but soft and breathable and is used under the outer layer. HI-ART, in combination with leather, is more than 200% more abrasion resistant than the leather alone – a great way to keep safe on the road.
Drop liner method that keeps you dry in all weather
The new products come with Dryway + 2.0 membrane, a layer of waterproof material that is tactically placed between the leather and the lining of the jackets and pants. In practice this means that even if the outer part of the jacket would get wet in hours of heavy rain, the moisture never reaches the skin.
Groundbreaking treatment to keep the motorcyclist cool when the weather gets hot
These new products come with TFL COOL SYSTEM® that does the impossible – it stays cool even in the sun. Black leather clothing has traditionally been considered stylish but somewhat impractical as it absorbs sunlight, creating an uncomfortably stuffy riding experience. The TFL COOL SYSTEM® that can be found on both the jackets and pants instead reflects the radiation of the sun, and it feels like wearing a white jacket even when the sun is beating down.
Furthermore, the pants have a long connection zipper to a jacket which makes it easy to wear the pants as a part of a complete riding suit
